For integrated care boards
Support every practice in your area with quality improvement.
Datim-QI is an AI quality improvement analyst for general practice. It reads published NHS data across QOF, CVDPREVENT, the National Diabetes Audit and OpenPrescribing, and turns it into a plan a practice team can act on: which cohort to review, the search that finds those patients, a suggested owner, the likely effort, and a patient message ready to send.
An ICB licence is a way to put that in front of all of your practices at once, including the practices with the least capacity to do this kind of analysis for themselves. That is how this reduces unwarranted variation: by levelling what every practice can see and act on, rather than by adding another view of the variation itself.
Option one
ICB CVDPREVENT licence
A CVDPREVENT report for every practice in your area, refreshed quarterly for a year.
- Each practice gets its own report, benchmarked against its PCN peers, your ICB, England and the published national ambitions.
- Four editions across the year, so a practice can see direction of travel rather than one snapshot.
- Covers the CVDPREVENT pathways: blood pressure, cholesterol and lipid management, atrial fibrillation, diabetes and chronic kidney disease.
- Descriptive by design. The report states the position and the comparison and stops there, so the clinical judgement about what to do stays with the practice.
- Delivered as a PDF per practice, so it can go straight into a practice meeting or a PCN discussion.
Option two
Full ICB licence
A Datim-QI practice membership and PCN membership for every practice in your area.
- Every practice gets a full membership: bespoke AI quality improvement plans across every QOF clinical domain, not only cardiovascular.
- Every practice also gets PCN membership, so member practices can see where the same gap runs across several of them and design the search and the recall once.
- Plans combine QOF achievement with CVDPREVENT, the National Diabetes Audit and OpenPrescribing, so a gap can be separated into a recording problem, a case-finding problem or a treatment one.
- Includes the CVDPREVENT practice reports described in option one.
- Saved plans, versioned history and PDF export, so each meeting has a consistent evidence base.
What a practice actually receives
A whole-practice plan
Every QOF clinical domain, ranked by what is recoverable, with the cohort to review and the search to run for each priority.
A plan per clinical domain
Cardiovascular, diabetes, respiratory and mental health, each written for the clinical lead for that area rather than the practice as a whole.
A CVDPREVENT report
The practice's cardiovascular position against its PCN, your ICB, England and the national ambitions, refreshed quarterly.
Governance and boundaries
- Published NHS data only. No connection to EMIS or SystmOne, and no patient-identifiable data at any point.
- Nothing to install, and no data sharing agreement for a practice to negotiate.
- Not a medical device. Suggestions identify cohorts for a clinician to review rather than recommending treatment for an individual patient.
- A Data Protection Impact Assessment is published, along with the methods behind every figure.

Arrange a conversation or a visit
Happy to talk either option through with your primary care team, or to come and present to a quality or primary care meeting. I am a GP, so it can be a clinical conversation as much as a commercial one.
Or write to hello@datim-qi.uk. Any practice with an nhs.net address can also try the free demo version first, without anything being agreed centrally.
