Cookie Policy

1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Datim-QI uses cookies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies we use
Datim-QI is a logged-in application, not a public content site, so we use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and no advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies.
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
- Authentication session cookies (set by Supabase) — keep you signed in and identify which practice’s data you are allowed to see. Without these, the service cannot function.
- view_practice — a temporary, first-party cookie that remembers when you are viewing a different practice’s benchmarks than your own default (for example, a multi-practice PCN role). It holds an NHS ODS practice code only, expires after 8 hours, and is not used for tracking.
These cookies cannot be disabled through a cookie banner because they are required for the service to work. You can still block or delete them via your browser settings, but the service will not function correctly without them.
3. What we do not use
Datim-QI does not currently set analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. If this changes in future, we will update this policy and add a cookie consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
4. Managing cookies via your browser
Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies through their settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will prevent you from staying signed in to Datim-QI.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
